c) How did his wife's death affect Harris?
d) What do you think about game rule # 3, was it funny, fair, or frightening?
e) Why did Poldy play like this the night of the 3rd discovery?
f) Is the black cat somehow involved in the game?
Then, choose a partner to interact with and reply to his/her post.
Best,
Jimena Rivadeneira, MA. TEFL.
c)I think that Harry was very affected by the persistence of his wife since he became a lonely person.
ResponderEliminarHis wife's death affected him a lot, I think it brought him depression, because he was very happy because they both loved each other and her death left him very bad. Personally, I was very sad about Julia's death because nobody deserves to be sad.
Eliminarf) I think it could be that Harris was winning a lot then Podly started playing another game he didn't realize.
ResponderEliminarSo the black cat could be Podly scaring him.
I think the black cat just scares Poly.
Eliminard) I think it's very scary, because Podly can get too close and something might happen that Harris doesn't like and Podly can get angry.
ResponderEliminarI was thinking it was funy because they laught a lot.
EliminarYes, I think the same, since it is not normal to play with a ghost.
EliminarI think the same, podly could get mad at Harris
Eliminarb) nothing, I would just observe it because I think it is a fictitious creature and I am not afraid
ResponderEliminarI on the other hand, would start screaming, crying and panicking, and call my mum crying because I'm super scared, if just reading the book caused me to be terrified.
EliminarI think I could keep calm so I don't go in fear
Eliminarb) I would enter with fear and I would not know what to do at that moment
ResponderEliminarI understand you. Maybe I would run away of there.
EliminarC. His wife's death affect too much to Harris because she was to social, funny, jealous and Harris wasn't. He was funny for she, but then he prefered to be alone in his big house. And, he didn't to leave of home. So,he just had one friend.
ResponderEliminarc) How did his wife's death affect Harris?
ResponderEliminarThe death of his wife affected Harris a lot, because she was very important to him and before he died, Harris's life was different, he was very happy and he was envied by his friends.
C) When his wife died, he became a lonely person, he didn't go out. But I think that this let him write detective stories very successful.
