Elementary_A2: 5th Session_ The Man With Three Names by John Escott

   Hi  guys,

It's time to post your comments about what you have read during this week.

So, please, choose a question to answer from the following ones:

a) What word or phrase did you learn this week?

Share its meaning, definition, and write a short sentence.

b)  How important was Janey’s drawing for the investigation of the case?

c) Why did Tim want everybody to think that Tom Wood was killed in the fire?

d) Is it ok to commit a crime when you lose your job?

Now, reply to a partner's post.

Best,

Jimena Rivadeneira, MA. TEFL.

  1. B) It was very important because through this drawing the police could recognize the men with three names.

    1. Ariana, I strongly agree with you as Janey really helped the police through this drawing. I'm sure if she didn't share it, the man would have escaped.

  2. c) Because he wanted to scape from the police, I think he wanted his criminal record to be clean. And, I suppose he had fallen in love with Mrs. Christy.

    1. I think the same, he wanted to stay away so as not to be linked, but he had not thought that he had fallen in love of Mrs. Christy.

  3. D) I think that committing a crime is not correct because we would be hurting others. We could look for other solutions.
