  1. In my opinion the story is really interesting because it is similar to nowadays' reality. There is a serious illness around the world, a lot of humans dying and many people is just celebrating as anything happen.

    1. I agree with you, it is a very interesting story and similar to the coronavirus that we are currently experiencing. There are many sick people and spread of this virus.

  2. A brief summary was that this disease caused the prince and his court to be quarantined in an abbey, so as not to catch it, they closed all the doors and stocked up on food, wine and clowns. while the red death was out, causing health problems to death in people.

  3. I read to the prince after five or six months, enjoying the company of his friends, while outside the palace a great wave of red death unfolded.
It is true that it has its resemblance to what we are experiencing. It is understandable that if the person has everything for fun and food, he will not need to go out, but people who do not have much food have to go out in search of food or starve.(Allison Palma)

  4. a) The story began with the existence of a deadly disease (red death) and in the middle of the disaster that this disease caused in its wake a prince decided to move away from the chaos by isolating himself and taking with him luxury and entertainment to a place far from what was happening in the world outside.

    b) The story began a bit crudely, showing details of a grotesque illness, but I think is good for the story and its development during the course of the book.
